Mr. Naveed Sheikh (President)

Mr. Naveed Sheikh is a successful businessman and banker. After receiving his education from Aitchison College Lahore, he started his professional career with the American Express Bank. He later joined Deutshe Bank.  After pursuing a successful banking career, he started his own business. Under his leadership, the Rukhsana Foundation has achieved monumental success in the service for humanity.  He personally and actively supervises all the projects of the foundation.

Lt. Col.(Retd) Mushtaq Ali Tahirkheli (Legal Advisor / Secretary)

Mr. Mushtaq Tahirkheli is a senior lawyer and an active politician. He graduated from Peshawar University in 1958 and later joined the Pakistan army. He retired from the army in 1977 and started his career as a lawyer. He also entered the realm of politics and actively participated in it. He became the Political Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and held that post from February 1997 to October 1999.  He currently remains a senior advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistan and a coherent politician.

Mr. Saeed Aslam Malik (Coordinator)

Mr. Saeed Aslam Malik is a qualified geologist. He possesses a unique expertise in the design of earthquake and fire proof houses. His designs were used in the construction of houses by the Rukhsana Foundation. With his help five houses were constructed in Muzzafarabad, five in Lowasi and fifty in Pabbi District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Presently he is the Manager Petro Physics Reservoir Management Department, OGDCL (Oil and Gas Development Company Limited)Pakistan.

Dr. Khalid Jamil Akhtar (Senior Member)

Dr. Khalid Jamil Akhtar M.B.B.S., F.C.P.S., D.C.N. (U.K) D.Med. Rehabs. R.C.P (London) is a versatile scholar and Medical professional. Along with a Medical degree, he holds special degrees in Rehabilitation.He has a wonderful curricular, co curricular and extracurricular record. Presently he is working as a Head of Rehabilitation department Mayo Hospital Lahore. He offers consultations and advisory services in following:- Neuromuscular Disorders, Soft Tissue Orthopedic (Orthopedic Medicine), Sports injuries, Rheumatological Disabilities, Neurological Disabilities, Pain Management, Geriatric Rehab, Pediatric Disabilities, Spinal Cord Injuries. As a social worker his objective to come on board Rukhsana Foundation is to work for the unfortunate and underprivileged so that they can become better citizens and valuable assets of the society. His works towards research and practice to improve the quality of life and the development of the potential of each individual and group of the community is commendable.

Mr. Saleem Khan (Treasurer)

Mr. Saleem Khan is a qualified Technical Education instructor/teacher. He received his basic education from Garrison boys High School Lahore. He later joined the Government College Of Technology Rawalpindi from where he did His B Tech. He is currently working as Chief Instructor at the Government College of Technology Lahore. He has worked on various projects in Punjab. He along with his family, help and participate in the running of the school and welfare clinic.

Mrs. Anisa Khanum (Member)

Mrs. Anisa Khanum is a house wife and a social worker. She received her basic education from presentation Convent School and later graduated from Lahore College for women. She is a symbol of social service for the community under the banner of Rukhsana Foundation. One of her prime accomplishments includes the arrangement of marriages for a number of underprivileged families. She has always actively participated in different projects of the foundation.

Mr. Syed Ali Raza Bokhari (Member)

Mr. Syed Ali Raza Bokhari is an investment banker and teacher. He has done his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from Imperial College of Business Studies. He started his professional career from Lahore College of Arts And Science (LACAS). In 1997 he joined the First Investment Bank as an investment banking executive. In 2009 he joined the Aitchison College Lahore as a part time teacher. Presently he is working at the Ali Institute as Project Advisor. In 2011 he was nominated as one of the Board members of Rukhsana Foundation Because of his educational background, skills, experience and enthusiasm to work for an educational rehabilitation of the unprivileged class of the society. He has a dream to help the downtrodden, underprivileged and neglected class of the society in the field of education. He believes in a working strategy of an organization based on the continuous process of research in social issues related to the community development.

Ms. Noor Tahirkheli (Member)

Ms. Noor Tahirkheli is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq the chairperson of Rukhsana Foundation and daughter of Dr. Naeem Tahirkheli M.D the patron. She is presently studying at the New York University, Manhattan New York, U.S.A, with major in Phycology. Noor possesses a keen interest in the various projects of Rukhsana Foundation and has a will to serve the underprivileged and the continuation of the work of the foundation in the future.

Mr. Rafiuddin Sheikh (Member)

Mr. Rafiuddin Sheikh is the grandson of Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq the chairperson of Rukhsana Foundation. He is a graduate in Commerce and management from McGill University Canada. He is presently serving as director business development at Elahee Buksh group in Karachi. He has a keen eye on the working of Rukhsana Foundation and represents its future.

Coordinator Balochistan Project

Mr. Mir Changez Khan Jamali, Federal Minister For Science And TechnologyM. Mir Changez Khan Jamali was born on March 3, 1972 in Rojhan Jamali, Balochistan. After O Level education from Aitchison College, Lahore, he graduated from the Balochistan University, Quetta in 2004. He is an unopposed elected member of National Assembly from the constituency NA-266 Nasirabad-cum-Jaffarabad. Mr. Jamali Belongs to a renowned family involved in the national politics for the past 80 years and has made significant contributions in the creation of Pakistan.Mr, Mir Jaffer Khan Jamali, (the grandfather of Mir Changez Khan Jamali), was one of the close companions of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah from Balochistan. The efforts of Jamali’s family for the uplift of Balochistan are well admired. They have always been in favor of spreading education in the province. The recent devastating floods in the country affected Balochistan equally. Since then Mr. Mir Changez Khan Jamali is working in collebration with Rukhsana Foundation day and night in the relief and rehabilitation operations especially in Balochistan province.

Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari, MPA, PP-245 (Dera Ghazi Khan-VI) Mr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan Leghari son of Col (R) Sardar Rafique Ahmed Khan Leghari was born on June 9, 1963 at Dera Ghazi Khan. After initial schooling at Aitchison College Lahore, he attended the University of Oklahoma in the U.S.A. Later, he obtained Certification in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics from University of the Punjab. He has worked with the world’s leading financial and information technology companies. He belongs to a renowned political family. His father served as a member Provincial Assembly Punjab during 1993-96 and 1997-99; his uncle, Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari was the President of Pakistan during 1993-96.
