DR. Naeem Tahirkheli M.D., FACC (The Patron)
Dr. Naeem Tahirkheli son of Mrs. Rukhsana Tahirkheli and Mr. Mushtaq Tahirkheli, is a Cardiologist who currently resides in Oklahoma, USA. He got his medical degree from the Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore and later worked at the Shaikh Zaid Hospital Lahore. In early nineties he moved to the United States. Here he completed residency in Internal Medicine along with a fellowship in Cardiology. He also completed the subspecialty of Interventional Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota. He is certified by the American Board Of Internal Medicine in three areas, Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. Currently he Practices at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Moore Medical Center and the St Anthony’s Hospital. Along with practicing medicine, he has also done a significant amount of research and has authored chapters in various text books, including the Mayo Clinic’s Cardiology Review, one of the largest selling Cardiology textbooks.
Dr. Tahirkheli shares his mother’s mission of care and service for the underprivileged. His mother is his inspiration and he fully understands her will to give the due share of his good fortune to the society. This desire led him to lay the foundation of an organization, which is dedicated to the service of the underprivileged and less fortunate part of the community, naming it after his mother, Rukhsana Foundation. He has also setup a sister organization namely Rukhsana Tahirkheli Foundation, a nonprofit welfare organization in the United States in order to extend the welfare service to his adopted country.
Under his patronage, Rukhsana Foundation is working hard to make life easier for the hapless, and this mission will go on.
